Nominations are live!  Please be sure to leave an email address as there will be awards for 2 lucky randomly drawn winners and it is the only way for your nomination to count.  Nominations close January 10th.

Please let us know if there are any mistakes.  Stay tuned to the IndieSwatch Instagram and Facebook as well for teasers or random giveaways honoring last year's Hall of Fame inductees.

IndieSwatch 2021 Bests Announced!

We are pleased to announced the winners and runner ups.  If a particular category has had the same winner in 1st place for 3 years in a row, the polish or brand will go into the Hall of Fame.  It will be added to the Hall of Fame tab and will be taken out of future voting for that category.  

We have 5 new Hall of Fame entries.  We see some new brands dominating the categories.  

Reflecting on 2021, we as a community saw new brands arrive, old brands bid farewell, and an increase in diversity as well as brands/groups using inclusive language.  We applaud brands that embrace diversity and we encourage collaborations to set expectations for participation as well as vet the brands that want to join to see if their own shop sites demonstrate a commitment to diversity.  Thank you to the brands that make everyone feel welcome.

We plan on retiring solar, wax, and mani bomb, and potentially scented top coat unless we see an increase in requests.  Next year we will add in glitter smoothing top coat and reflective glitter.  Please let us know if you have any feedback.

*UPDATED Feb 4, 2022 Apologies - noticed that scented top coat winner was supposed to be in the Hall of Fame from last year.

Voting is live!  To recap how top contenders were selected

• Top 4 answers were selected, sometimes that resulted in a tie causing more nominations
• If there were a top 3, and all other nominations would have resulted in 20+ tie, only top 3 were used
• Listed in alphabetical order
• Nothing was filtered or deleted

Voting is open through January 21st 11:59 Eastern.  We will select a winner to win $50 store credit to brand of our choice (Note: during the nominations each winner selected a few brands and we got them a gift card to one of their choices) :)
